A LEAGUE OF OUR OWN

Playing opportunities are open to anyone who is forty years old by 12/31/2007. If you are interested in joining, take a look at the league descriptions below, and please contact Mark Van Overloop or register with a completed registration form and a check mailed to the above address.

League fees are to be paid by April 1st, "Opening Day"; before the start of the League(s)/Tournament(s) you are registering to play in. Early deposits (and payment in full) are highly recommended to assure your spot on a team of your choice. Credits/Refunds are available if you cannot play where you paid in advance.

4 Leagues Offered for 2008

1. 11TH ANNUAL THURSDAY NIGHT LEAGUE: April 3rd - August 28th, $319. All games are played at the Sulak Lane field in Park Ridge and Westvale Park in Westwood, starting at 7:30 P.M. There are 2 scheduled umpires for each game, and the team equipment is supplied. Please see the league rules for more information.

   

2. 14TH ANNUAL 40+ SUNDAY A.M. LEAGUE: April 6th - August 24th, $339. Most games are played in the Bergen County area and all start at 9:00 A.M. There are two scheduled umpires for each game, and the team equipment is supplied. Please see the league rules for more information.

   

3. 3RD ANNUAL FALL WEEKNIGHT LEAGUE: September 2nd - October 23rd, $159. Tuesday/Thursday, 1 game per week per team, in September and October at Sloatsburg, NY (great lights!) field.

   

4. 14TH ANNUAL FALL (SUNDAYS) LEAGUE: September 7th - November 16th, $199. Most games are played in the Bergen County area. There are 2 scheduled umpires for each game, and the team equipment is supplied. Please see the league rules for more information.

1. 9TH ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY TOURNAMENT at convenient, local YOGI BERRA STADIUM in Montclair, NJ. Doubleheader - Sunday, May 25th (Memorial Day), $119/player - for 2 games each.

   

2.  11th Annual Cooperstown Tournament – August 18 to 21, Monday thru Thursday, $359 for 8 games each in 4 days on historic Doubleday Field. This year we will be using wooden bats only, again.

   

3. 9th ANNUAL LABOR DAY TOURNAMENT at YOGI BERRA or Hudson Valley Stadium, Doubleheader - Sunday, August 31st or Monday, September 1st, $119/player - for 2 games each.
